Turkey Necks are a perfect way to give your pet jaw exercise and chewing fun. They can sink their teeth into the thick bendy raw cartilage of these large necks. Turkey necks are especially good for larger dogs who have a tendency to swallow chicken necks whole but can be enjoyed by all cats and dogs.
Turkey is higher in selenium than chicken – a trace mineral which has been found to reduce the chances of certain forms of cancer. Selenium also improves long term joint health, keeps the skin and coat healthy and boosts the immune system. Turkey is also a leaner option than chicken and significantly higher in iron aids the transport of oxygen through the blood whilst also helping the muscles store and use oxygen. Higher levels of zinc are also an added bonus for the skin and coat health of your pet.
